Just want to say hi to all my friends at First United Methodist Church of Boulder. I have moved back to Florida now to be closer to family. I have to admit after Mack Lovvorn and family was there and they moved to Ft Lupton I went to both Church’s. I stayed with his girls when they were out of town. Then to Golden I changed membership. Then Life took me in different places. Time to Broomfield and then to Lafayette where I was before moving back to Florida. I have great memories there and while there I took care of nursery and taught Sunday School . Think of so many memories from there. Some time last year I meant a girl that came here with a group and sang for us and she was related some way to Mrs Gagous that I took over todler room at one time. So its a small world. I go to College Park United Methodist Church hear in Orlando,Fl. . Its where my family has gone since 58 and I came there in 63. Time has gone by fast.
If any one hears of a address for Cal McConnel please let me know.
God Bless you All
A Friend In Christ.
I remember attending your wonderful church the summer of 2012 when my daughter was at NRO in Breckenridge. You all made me feel so at home. Since that time the opportunity to receive notification each week about your church community activities has given me great pleasure to follow your church life. After the flood of this past year I’ve prayed for your community in their efforts to restore normal conditions for so many at a time it must have been difficult, and even today many must be still be adjustments for that time. America is a great land, and I am so happy to have shared quiet special times with you in your CO land. At this time I face as we all do an unknown future, but know from an unexpected emergency room visit in NC that I have by a CT scan a condition that likely is cancer. Both my mother and sister passed away from this in a very short time after biopsy as it is a very aggressive, often hereditary cell type, once the capsal is broken, the spread is usually rapid. I am electing not to have a biopsy yet, but instead set things up for the end of life, and prepare certain details for my family if the event the corner turns rapidly. With my mother this was the case. My sister was a open close surgical case, nothing could be done. I am so blessed to have a little warning. The tumor does respond for a short time to radiation treatment, so I know I will accept that when the time comes. In the mean time please all pray for me to complete what I can, and be surrounded by the Lords blessings and strength for this possibility. Faithfully yours, and may you all be blessed by the simple pleasures of God’s goodness every day. Thank you for your loving support, and prayers, Terry (I shyly sat in the back of church, and enjoyed some summer evening worship and meals with some of you)
