So there is anxiety in your world. Big Surprise. These times are filled with issues that stimulate anxiety, finances, war, security, sexual issues, elections. Add to that the normal familial ways that anxiety is raised through the natural pushers such as children, relationships, health issues, relatives, schools, and jobs, and we all have plenty to deal with.
Rev. Bill Selby
Join us for a seminar, taught by the Rev. Bill Selby, that is designed to help you as leaders, whether in your family, your friendships, your school, your professional family, or your church family, to create responses that will be more productive.
We’ll gather at First United Methodist church of Boulder on Friday evening, February 2, from 6:00 pm–8:45 pm, and Saturday, February 3, from 8:30 am–2:30 pm. A light supper will be provided on Friday evening, and boxed lunches are available on Saturday. The seminar is FREE of charge. Donations to cover the cost of food will be gratefully accepted.
Folks of all ages and life experiences are invited! Whether you are an adolescent or teenager dealing the pressures of school, friendships, and changing hormones, an adult dealing with a crying 3 year old, or a person involved in a marriage or significant relationship, or stressful work situations, a difficult employer or employee, or the natural tensions within any system, you can learn something valuable at this seminar.
This seminar is designed for SELF discovery and growth. But at the same time, as each of us gets healthier, every family system with whom you connect does as well. Over 75% of those who have attended this seminar previously have evaluated this as “very valuable.” Don’t miss out!
