Our morning service celebrates the Fourth Sunday of Advent, Joy Sunday, with hymn singing and the sacrament of Holy Communion. And our three unique Christmas Eve services celebrate the joy of Christmas. You are welcome! Join us!
Sunday Morning, 12/24, 10:30 am Service
4th Sunday of Advent—Joy
We’ll conclude our celebration of the season of Advent at our 10:30 am worship service with hymn singing, and an Advent message from Pastor Matthias entitled Let It Be based on Luke 1:26-38 (as translated in A New New Testament). We’ll also celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion. Absolutely everyone is welcome at our communion table!
CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES
5:00 pm: Join us for a family service with carol singing, stories, candle-lighting, special music from our youth, and a birthday cake for Jesus. Absolutely everyone is welcome!
7:00 pm: Absolutely everyone is welcome at our candlelight service with carol singing and special Christmas music performed by our Chancel Choir.
9:00 pm: Join us for our jazz service that includes jazz music for reflection, contemplation, and celebration. We’ll sing a few traditional carols arranged in a jazz style, and we’ll enjoy candlelight as we pass the light of Christmas to one another. This year’s jazz quintet features (pictured, clockwise from top left) Pete Lewis, saxophone; Clare Church, drums; Ed Battle, vocals; Jason Malmberg, bass; and Victor Mestas-Perez, piano. Absolutely everyone is welcome!
FREE Parking for all our Christmas Eve services is available in our surface parking lot; enter from 15th Street between Pine and Spruce Streets. Additional free parking is available in the parking garage at 15th and Spruce Streets; enter from 15th. There is also street parking in the neighborhood surrounding the church, and several City of Boulder parking garages (free on Sundays/holidays) are within an easy walk of the church.
