The September 22nd event at First United Methodist Church of Boulder is one of a number of stops for the Room for Hope presentation. We are really fortunate to have this group come to Boulder for a day! Those in the FUMC community who traveled to Israel/Palestine in 2013 heard Rev. Mitri Raheb speak several times including at the Dar Al Kalima University, and encourage everyone to come on September 22nd and hear his compelling story.
The Room for Hope Events in Colorado are sponsored by Bright Stars of Bethlehem, a group in the United States which supports Lutheran ministries in Bethlehem, Palestine. These ministries are three schools: the Dar Al-Kalima elementary school, high school, and the two year college with university status. To learn more, visit Bright Stars of Bethlehem online.
A free-will offering will be taken at this event to benefit Dar Al-Kalima students.
This event is free and open to the public; everyone is welcome.
