Children’s Programs

Children are a vital part of our congregation! We take their education very seriously; they model love and liveliness for all.

Every Sunday

9:00-11:45 Nursery care available for ages 0-4 from 9 am until the end of worship service.

10:45 – 11:45 Children ages 5-11 are welcome to attend Children’s Sunday School, which meets directly after the Children’s time during the 10:30 worship service. Children learn lessons and participate in actvities based off of the scripture reading for worship that week. We are currently using the Seasons of the Spirit curriculum. Seasons of the Spirit provides lectionary-based resources that nurture faith through liturgy, ritual, imagination, and encourage Christian growth through worshipping, learning, and serving together. By equipping and enabling leaders, Seasons of the Spirit strives to empower children, youth, and adults to articulate “the hope that is in them.”

Fam First Weekends!

Mark your calendars! The first weekend of every month will be dedicated to activities and programming that the whole family can enjoy. Our next Fam First Weekend will be June 1 – 3

Friday Night: Kid’s Club. It’s a night for Kids Only at FUMC. 5:30-8:30pm. Games, food, and fun.

Saturday: Play time at the Pearl St. Fountain. We’ll meet at FUMC at 3pm and head over to the fountain to splash around!

Sunday: All church picnic! 10:30: Worship. Noon: All church picnic. Bring a side to share. Please bring food that does not contain peanuts and nuts. Gluten-free treats are always needed, too!
