Internationally acclaimed theologian and author, Matthew Fox is an Episcopal priest and an activist who is reshaping the conversation about traditional religion and entrenched educational systems worldwide. As a spiritual theologian Fox has written 30 books that have been translated into 43 languages and have received numerous awards, including the Peace Abbey Courage of Conscience Award joining a distinguished list of previous recipients such as the Dalai Lama, Mother Theresa, Rosa Parks and Maya Angelou. His work has contributed much to the rediscovery of Hildegard of Bingen, Meister Eckhart and Thomas Aquinas as pre-modern mystics and prophets.
