Blue Christmas Service on the Labyrinth
December 20 @ 5:15 pm - 6:15 pm
The holiday season can be difficult. During a season when we’re all expected to be merry and bright, the very real grief, loneliness, and disappointments in our everyday lives do not magically disappear. Join us for this service where you can come as you are, and let the peaceful energy and candlelight of the labyrinth soothe your soul and provide a space for all you hold.
We’ll gather on our peaceful indoor labyrinth at 5:15 PM on Friday, December 20, 2019. Dr. Celene Lillie, FUMC’s Director of Adult Education and Spiritual Formation, will officiate. There is no admission charge; all are welcome at this free community event.
Since 1997, First United Methodist Church of Boulder has been a member church of the Reconciling Ministries Network, fully welcoming of LGBTQ people and their loved ones. As a Reconciling Congregation, we affirm that all of us are beloved children of God, including persons of all sexual orientations and gender identifications. Absolutely everyone is welcome!
