Connecting Threads Exhibit Runs Through 1/15; Reception on Friday, 11/18
October 2, 2016 @ 9:00 am - January 15, 2017 @ 12:00 pm

Have you noticed the stunningly beautiful fabric art exhibit currently hanging in our sanctuary gallery? The exhibit, titled Connecting Threads, is part of Celebration! A History of Visual Arts in Boulder (HOVAB). Ours is one of 18 participating venues. Connecting Threads was curated by our own Barbara Olson, herself a talented fabric artist. The exhibit will run through January 15, 2017. Visit HOVAB’s website to learn more about this event and all the other participating galleries and exhibits.
There will be a reception celebrating Connecting Threads in our sanctuary and narthex on Friday, 11/18, from 6:00-8:30 pm; all are welcome. All are welcome to attend the reception and view the exhibit. Parking is available in the church parking lot for this event.
Connecting Threads is open for viewing during the church’s regular office hours: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Just come to the church office to ask for access to the sanctuary. There is no admission charge. Please note: our office manager normally takes a lunch break between 1:00-2:00 pm. During this time, our custodian tries to stay close to the office, and he can also let you into the sanctuary. But it may be a little harder to find someone to let you in between 1:00 and 2:00 pm.
You may also see the exhibit on Sundays before or after our worship service, which is at 10:30 am. We invite you to come enjoy the exhibit and stay for worship; absolutely EVERYONE is welcome.
This exhibit runs through Sunday, January 15.
