Four Unique, Beautiful Services on Christmas Eve at First United Methodist Church of Boulder
December 24, 2014 @ 5:00 pm - December 25, 2014 @ 12:00 am
On Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24th, First United Methodist Church of Boulder would love to welcome you and share the joy and beauty of Christmas with you and your loved ones!
Please join us for one of our four worship services on Christmas Eve!
5:00 pm: Our Family Candlelight Christmas Eve Service will feature carols, a special children’s story, and a visit from St. Nicholas. We’ll sing “Silent Night” and “Happy Birthday,” and have birthday cake to celebrate Jesus’s birthday.
7:00 pm: This beautiful Candlelight Service features Christmas music performed by our Chancel Choir, our organist, Gerald Holbrook, and a guest brass quintet. We’ll listen to the Christmas story and sing carols. Pastor Pat Bruns will share a special Christmas meditation.
9:00 pm: Our Jazz Christmas Eve Service features seasonal music from Pete Lewis’s Jazz Ensemble, and will celebrate the joy of the season in music and stories. We’ll sing “Silent Night” and light candles.
11:00 pm: This contemplative Candlelight Christmas Eve service offers an opportunity to ponder the mystery and beauty of the Christmas story and share in the sacrament of Holy Communion. Pastor Joe Agne will share a special Christmas meditation.
Absolutely EVERYONE is welcome at all of our services, both on Christmas Eve and throughout the year! No reservations are required for Christmas Eve; please just come. We look forward to celebrating Christmas with you.
