Parents will pick children up from the Parlor after worship. Older children, 4th grade and up, are invited to stay in the worship service with their families. Middle and high school youth are invited to assist with leading Children's Worship in the Parlor, or remain in worship.

Safe Sanctuaries

safe sanctuariesAt First United Methodist Church of Boulder, we engage in Safe Sanctuaries practices to keep our children and youth safe. Safe Sanctuaries is an overt expression in making congregations safe places where children, youth, and elders may experience the abiding love of God and fellowship within the community of faith. Click on the blue text above or the Safe Sanctuaries logo to learn more about these practices and how they are implemented in congregations around the country, including ours.

Next Date: Sun, 9/30

On every fifth Sunday of the month, we'll have a special Children's Worship on our church's beautiful indoor labyrinth during the 10:30 am worship service. Come join us on these special Sundays, and give your children the opportunity to experience the peace and beauty of our labyrinth! Families will begin each morning together in the sanctuary for the 10:30 am service, and then children will be invited to go with Sunday School teachers to the labyrinth. The Fifth Sunday dates for 2018 are April 29, July 29, September 30, and December 30.
