Children are a vital part of our congregation! We approach their education and care with joy and enthusiasm; they model love and liveliness for us all.
Kids Night In: Fri, 10/18, 5:30-9:00 PM
Drop your K-5th grade kids off at church for a fun night of games and crafts. We’ll enjoy pizza for dinner. $10 for one child, $5/child for additional children. Meanwhile, parents can enjoy a night out! Please email Family Life Director Stephanie Moffitt to RSVP for your child(ren).
345 Gathering: Sunday, 10/20, 3:00-5:00 PM
Do you have a 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader living at your house? We are starting a new gathering just for them! This group will gather once a month at church and then spend time together doing activities around town (bowling, hiking, strolling Pearl Street, eating pizza, etc.) Each gathering will be from 3-5 pm, and your child will need a little spending money ($5-$10). Drop off and pick up will be at church, in the circle drive. Permission slips for traveling in volunteer vehicles will be available at each gathering, should we need to use cars for traveling (for example, to go bowling). We are excited about launching this new group, and hope your 345 Kid can join us! Questions? Email Stephanie.

Parents will pick children up from the Parlor after worship. Older children, 4th grade and up, are invited to stay in the worship service with their families. Middle and high school youth are invited to assist with leading Children's Worship in the Parlor, or remain in worship.
At First United Methodist Church of Boulder, we engage in Safe Sanctuaries practices to keep our children and youth safe. Safe Sanctuaries is an overt expression in making congregations safe places where children, youth, and elders may experience the abiding love of God and fellowship within the community of faith. Click on the blue text above or the Safe Sanctuaries logo to learn more about these practices and how they are implemented in congregations around the country, including ours.
