Fellowship Potluck Groups Forming Now

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Want to have some fun? All members and friends of the FUMC community are invited to participate in the Fellowship Potluck groups. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people in the church or to get better acquainted with old friends.

Each potluck group consists of four couples and/or singles who meet once in the home of each member during a six month period for an evening of fellowship, fun, and food. Each member of the group hosts and provides the main dish one time. The other members alternate bringing salad, veggie, and dessert. The main purpose of each meeting is a relaxed evening of fun and fellowship. The sessions run from January through June and July through December. At the end of each session, the groups are mixed and start again.

Scheduling of the meetings is up to each group. The goal is to select dates when everyone can attend. If someone can’t make a meeting at the last minute, a list of substitutes is available. You are always free to invite a guest as a substitute or as an extra if space permits. Some groups may want to go out for one or more of their meetings. The thing in common with all the groups is to gather for an evening of fun, food, and fellowship.

If you would like to be part of this round of potluck groups, a substitute, or would like more information, please Mary McDaniel at your earliest opportunity. Thank you!
