A celebration of Dick’s life will be held here at First Church on Monday, November 29, at 11:00 am; a reception will follow the service. Masks are required.
If you cannot join us in person, Dick’s service will also be LIVESTREAMED. CLICK HERE to join the livestream.
Parking Suggestions: Some parking is available in the underground garage below the TGTHR (formerly Attention Homes) Apartments next door to First Church; look for spaces marked “FUMC Parking.” To access this garage, turn into the alley from either 14th or 15th Street, and enter the garage opposite the church building. Also, street parking is available in the neighborhood near the church, and some of it is free of charge for either two or three hours; please read signage carefully. There are also two paid parking lots on 15th Street, both within two blocks of the church. One is between Walnut and Pearl, and one is between Pearl and Spruce. To get to either garage, turn onto 15th from Canyon Blvd since 15th runs one way (north). Please leave parking spaces in the church’s circle drive available for folks who need closer access to the building.
Public Transit: First Church is two blocks from the downtown Boulder Walnut Street bus station (corner of 14th and Walnut).
Please keep Dick’s wife, Beth, and all of their family in your prayers in this sad time.
