This summer, join First Church’s Green Team members Brenda Mehos and Jana Milford for a series of conversations about the book All We Can Save: Truth, Courage, and Solutions for the Climate Crisis, edited by Ayana Elizabeth Johnson and Katharine K. Wilkinson.
Discussions are planned for 9:00 am on the church porch on three Sundays: June 5, June 19, and July 3. The first discussion on June 5 will cover chapters 1 and 2 of the book. In our June 5 conversation, we’ll focus on Begin, Calling In, Reciprocity, Indigenous Prophesy & Mother Earth, Litigating in a Time of Crisis, and Collards Are Just As Good As Kale, as well as all poems. Feel free to come even if you did not read the book!
Free copies of the book are available to you, courtesy of the Library Foundation. Pick up a free book at church on Sundays (there are now copies in the parlor!), or EMAIL BRENDA MEHOS if you’d like to reserve one. Also let Brenda know if you’d like to join the First Church Green Team’s email list.
All We Can Save is a NATIONAL BESTSELLER • Provocative and illuminating essays from women at the forefront of the climate movement who are harnessing truth, courage, and solutions to lead humanity forward. Learn more on the BOOK’S WEBSITE.
