Sun, Dec 11: 11th Hour Calling Bell Ringing for Climate Action

On Sunday, December 11th, all are invited to join members of the First Church Green Team, the Green Faith Alliance, and other community organizers for an 11th Hour Calling bell ringing to call for urgent, immediate action on climate change. Gather at 10:30 am outside of First Church’s bell tower (14th and Spruce in downtown Boulder) for a time of fellowship, prayer, and updating each other on climate news. Beginning at 11:00 am, we’ll take turns ringing the tower bell for 11 minutes to call for 11th hour action on climate change. Feel free to bring your own instruments or other noise-makers, and signs. ALL are welcome.

If you’re attending First Church’s 10:30 am worship service, you’re welcome to come and go between worship and the bell ringing! Use the doorway to the left of the Chancel to go back towards the chapel, and access the bell tower.

This is a hybrid event, so please feel welcome to join us from home via Zoom if you cannot attend in person. CLICK HERE to join the Zoom meeting. The meeting ID is 812 0611 3930.

If you have questions, please EMAIL Mary Beth Downing.

The 11th Hour Calling events take place every month on the 11th day of the month at the First Church bell tower; we gather around 10:30 am, and conclude by 11:15 am. Join us, and bring your friends. ALL are welcome!
