Sun, Oct 23rd: Budget Party after Church!

 

Please join our first-ever Budget Party next Sunday, October 23rd, following worship!

What’s a budget party, you may be wondering? Glad you asked. The Finance Committee wants you to have a chance to provide feedback (in writing on paper on the walls) about what you think the church budget should include next year. We want everyone’s input…or at least as many people as possible! The Finance Committee wants you to know that everyone in the First Church community has a voice in their consideration for how the church budget will be allocated in 2023. Dream big!

And it’s a PARTY! So there will be good food. And even better company. We’ll enjoy delicious sandwiches from the Organic Sandwich Company (there will be gluten-free and vegetarian sandwiches available), and Pastor Mike is making chocolate chip cookies! We’ll be in the church parlor, and you’ll be in and out in an hour. Come join the party–be part of this important work. Let your voice be heard! The Finance Committee looks forward to incorporating your input as we shape next year’s budget.
