Support the Attention Homes Apartments

Now that the first residents are moving into the Attention Homes (AH) Apartments, on-going efforts to support them are underway. Our neighbors at St. John’s Episcopal Church, across Pine Street from FUMC, are opening their Whittier Pantry to AH Apartments residents to help them with toiletries and other household needs.

• Hair Conditioner
• Bar Soap (Dove preferred, no Irish Spring)
• Body Lotion

Donations may be brought to the St. John’s office (corner of 15th and Pine) Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and 1:00-4:00 PM. Monetary contributions are also welcome; make checks payable to St. John’s Episcopal Church with “Whittier pantry” in the memo line.

We have also created a Whittier Pantry donation box in the church office at FUMC; items left there will be regularly delivered to St. John’s.

ALSO: there is an on-going need for non-perishable food items for AH Apartments residents. These can be dropped off at the Attention Homes offices at 1440 Pine Street, Suite B (in the new building…they have moved out of the Heritage House), on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

If you’re interested in preparing a home-cooked meal for residents, please email Mo Shirley.

Thank you for your continuing support!
