Parking and Transit
Free parking is accessible through the alley parallel to Spruce Street and Pine Street, between 14th Street and 15th Street. On 14th Street, the entrance to the alley is between Boulder County AIDS Project and Lucille’s. On 15th Street, the entrance to the alley is between Rocky Mountain Equality and TGTHR Homes.
When you pull into the alley:
- The circular drive on the south side of the alley in front of the church entrance is open parking for visitors. On Sundays, we reserve these spots for handicapped parking.
- The underground garage on the north side of the alley (across from the circular drive) has a few spaces reserved for First Church.
City of Boulder parking garages are within an easy walk of the church. These garages are FREE on Saturdays and Sundays.
Free and paid street parking around the Whittier neighborhood is for 2 or 3 hours only, depending on the space. Pay station spaces are free after 7:00 pm, and free all day on Sundays.
Public Transportation Options
Any bus route that has a stop at the downtown Boulder (Walnut) station at 14th and Walnut puts you a three-block walk from the church. Many buses also run along Broadway, so getting off at Spruce and Broadway puts you a three-block walk from church. To learn more about bus transit options, visit RTD’s website.
