Our children are our future. Here at First Church, dating back to the 1990’s, we have had a tradition of awarding scholarships to members and friends of our congregation who are navigating the waters of higher education.
Our Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce that six scholarships were awarded recently. The recipients are:
- Paloma Delgado, Cornell College (Mount Vernon, Iowa)
- Tara De Reuck, American University of Paris
- Ada Hester, University of Colorado – Boulder
- Jake Hester, Vanderbilt University
- Elliott Mickelberry, University of Cincinnati
- Landon Resch, Finger Lakes Community College (Canandaigua, New York)
We wish these young people much success as they continue to pursue their dreams.
