Merry Christmas!

Dear Friends,

The two biggest feast days in the Church in this country are Easter and Christmas. One celebrates an unnatural event (resurrection), and this one celebrates the most natural, human event (birth).

Two thousand years ago there wasn’t much reason to celebrate among the people Jesus called “family.” The birth of the Christ Child is celebration, peace, joy, justice, hope, and love.

According to the story in Luke, God shocked the shepherds out tending their flocks. God didn’t trumpet the news in the halls of power, but on the rocky hillside.

We have some rocky hillsides on which to share the good news! May your celebrations be full of joy and love.

Naturally.

Keep tellin’ the Story,
