Since 1948, the Conference on World Affairs (CWA) has brought together global leaders, innovators, and experts to spark timely, thought-provoking conversations on the issues shaping our world.
The 78th Annual Conference on World Affairs returns to CU Boulder April 13–16, 2026. We are proud to host the official kickoff of the university’s 150th Anniversary celebration.
All sessions are free, but in-person and livestream events require registering for CWA online or on-site, and some events “sell out” (such as for the closing speaker, Malala Yousafzai); and registering for an in-person event does not guarantee a seat, so CWA recommends arriving early to popular events.
Also, all events this year will be at the new Limelight Hotel instead of in various auditoriums and classrooms at CU.
